“Bad” Chad Phillip Dawson (born July 13, 1982) is an American professional fighter from Hartsville, South Carolina. On May 1, 2012, Dawson entered “Ring Magazine'”s pound-for-pound ranks for the very first time, at number 10.

Dawson himself was complimentary regarding the departing Welsh winner, saying “I applaud Joe’s decision. It is clear he along with his family gave it lots of idea.
