Damon Wayans net worth, biography and wiki:

Damon is famous for starring in the television series In Living Color and My Wife and Kids. He is 6’2 and weighs 210 pounds. Wayans came from a big family with 10 kids born to his mother a homemaker and social worker and his father, a supermarket manager. Nearly all of his brothers and sisters would continue to have exceptionally successful television and movie professions with Wayans and brother Keenen Ivory directing a lot of the manner.

Like his older brother, Damon started doing stand-up comedy in the early 1980s, resulting in a link with Eddie Murphy and even creating a short appearance in his first movie Beverly Hills Cop in 1984. His older brother soon caused it to be to be a cast member on Saturday Night Live at around the exact same time but was fired for performing a character in the show otherwise than it was composed and in rehearsals. His older brother also appeared on Solid Gold as a stand-up comedian. His vibrant characters in the show made him among the stand outs in the show and shortly he got leading motion picture parts in films like The Last Boy Scout, Mo’ Money, Blankman, Major Payne, Bulletproof and Bamboozled.

Wayans had mixed success in the big screen but normally returned to the little screen where he enjoyed significantly more popularity. Wayans starred in the short lived Damon in 1998, but had an excellent run with My Wife and Kids (2001-2005). Wayans’ popularity dropped off after his last situation comedy however he continues to work on several jobs, including writing a novel, Red Hats, printed in 2010, and doing stand-up comedy. Wayans was married but divorced in 2000 as well as the couple had four kids together.

1There are my kinds of comedians. The observational humorist, the impressionist, the character creator, the physical comedian, the self-deprecator and the dirty joke teller. What made Richard Pryor so brilliant is he was able to incorporate all these styles at once.
2My father was very strict. The rules were that everyone had to be upstairs in the house at 6 o'clock every night including weekends. It was forced interaction, but my father never stopped us from having fun.
3I don't ever want to be Number One because once you become Number One, you start to change. You get scrutinized on everything you do and you're suddenly afraid to take chances. I need to take chances. I need to work. I don't want to be a superstar.
