Wale Folarin is an American hip-hop artist having an estimated net worth of $6 million. He’s 5’10 and weighs 190 pounds. Olubowale Victor Akintimehin was produced on September 21, 1984 in Washington, DC. His parents are Nigerian immigrants who came to America from Austria in 1979. Wale eventually dropped out from school as a result of professors.
Wale’s first tune to get played on local radio was called “Rhyme of the Century”. Wale climbed to prominence when his tune “Dig Dug (Shake It)” became a hit on local radio. Wale’s music was greatly affected by GoGo music that’s a kind of music native to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
Wale released a sequence of mixtapes and appeared on MTV and various magazines. All this promotion resulted in the rapper singing a $1.3 million recording contract with Interscope Records.
Attention Deficit, Wale’s debut record, was launches in 2009 with the singles “Chillin”, “Pretty Girls”, and “World Tour”. Although his record was under-sent it received favorable reviews from music critics.
While under MMG Wale released his sophomore record Dream (2011) which spawned his hit single with featuring Miguel “Lotus Flower Bomb”. Aspiration was met with mixed reviews.
Wale’s third studio album The Gifted was released on June 25, 2013 and debuted in the top position in the Billboard 200. Additionally, it got excellent reviews.
