John Varvatos is an American modern menswear designer. The Varvatos family is originally in the hamlet of Poulata to the Greek island of Cefalonia. He attended Allen Park High School. Varvatos joined Polo Ralph Lauren in 1983. Then he moved on to Calvin Klein in 1990 where he was named head of menswear design and manage the start of the men’s range as well as the cK brand.
