Peter Kenneth Frampton (created 22 April 1950) is an English rock musician, vocalist, songwriter, producer, guitarist and multi instrumentalist. He was formerly related to the groups Humble Pie and The Herd. The record sold more than six million copies in America alone and spawned several hits. Since then he’s released several important records. He’s also appeared as himself in television shows like “The Simpsons” and “Family Guy”. Frampton is famous for his work as a guitar player and especially with a Talkbox and his tenor voice.
This record was followed by Frampton’s Camel in 1973, which featured Frampton working within an organization endeavor. In 1974, Frampton released Somethin’s Happening. Frampton toured extensively to support his solo career, joined for 3 years by his former Herd teammate Andy Bown on keyboards, Rick Wills on Bass Guitar, and American drummer John Siomos. In 1975, the Frampton record premiered. The record went to No. 32 in the US graphs, and is certified Gold by the RIAA.
